Caring for Your Artwork

The effects of ultraviolet light, pollution, dirt, grime and salt deposits can all accumulate on your tile artwork and its powder coated or clear coated frame over time.  A very simple regular maintenance program should be implemented to ensure the removal of any residues and to also extend the effective life of your steel protective coatings.
As a general rule, cleaning should take place every six months (or more frequently in areas where pollutants are more prevalent.  To clean your artwork:

1. Carefully remove any loose deposits with a low-pressure hose and a wet sponge.
2. Use a soft, non-abrasive brush or cloth and a mild household detergent solution to remove dust, salt and other deposits.
3. Rinse off with clean fresh water.

Our tile tables should be dry covered in winter temperatures, to protect against freezing/thawing standing water.  Our hanging wall pieces are fine outdoors in any weather, but protection from direct sunlight will extend the looks of the epoxy grout.
